This bracelet is based on a type of Viking Age arm-ring known as ring-money.

The original silver artefacts were worn as conspicuous displays of wealth and were also used as currency. When silver was needed to purchase something, the bracelets were simply cut up and weighed for their bullion wealth.

The replica bracelet is fashioned out of lead-free pewter and is decorated with triangular motifs that are based on Viking Age stamps.

It measures circa 75mm across and is made by Asgard Crafts. The bracelet is adjustable - just warm gently on a radiator prior to adjusting.
